Price alerts for the coins you have in stock.

CoinManagerPro checks your coins each day and lists the ones that need a pricing check: priced under melt, under cost, far from their AI estimate, or with no value. Set metal price alerts to hear when gold or silver crosses your price.

The Price alerts page in CoinManagerPro with three open alerts. A 2024 American Gold Eagle has a metal value of $2,640, above its value of $2,450. An 1893-S Morgan dollar is listed on Flow Dealers at $3,600, 18% under its estimate of $4,400. A 1916-D Mercury dime has a value of $1,050, under the $1,200 paid. A metal price alert waits for silver at or above $35.

What price alerts find

Each alert names the coin and the figures behind it, with a link to the coin.

Priced under melt

The coin's metal is worth more than its value or its Flow Dealers price, at today's spot price.

Value under cost

The value is under what you paid for the coin.

Far from the estimate

The latest AI estimate is well above or below the coin's value, or its Flow Dealers price is well over or under the estimate.

No value

Coins in stock with no value set.

Metal price alerts

Pick gold, silver, platinum, or palladium and a price per ounce. The alert fires once when spot is at or above, or at or below, that price.

Notification and email

New coin alerts from the daily check show in notifications. A metal price alert also sends you an email.

Alerts that clear

When you fix the price, the alert resolves at the next check. Select Check now to check at once.

Dismiss and keep it quiet

A dismissed alert stays closed until the coin's figures change. Members without View cost do not see cost alerts.

How price alerts work

01

Set your gap

In Valuation rules, set how far an estimate and a price must differ before an alert opens. The default is 15%.

02

CoinManagerPro checks each day

It compares each coin's value, cost, Flow Dealers price, latest estimate, and melt value. It also checks after each valuation.

03

Work the list

Price alerts groups the open alerts by type, with what puts money at risk first. Open a coin to change its price.

04

The alert closes

When the problem is gone, the alert resolves. A dismissed alert opens again only when its figures change.

Questions about price alerts

Do I need AI valuations for price alerts?

Not for all of them. Under cost and no value need only the coin's cost and value. Estimate alerts need an AI valuation. Under-melt alerts need the coin's metal content or a valuation.

How often are the alerts checked?

Once a day for every workspace with coins in stock, and after each valuation or valuation run. Check now runs the check at once.

How do metal price alerts work?

Choose a metal, at or above or at or below, and a price per ounce. When the spot price crosses it, you get a notification and an email, and the alert turns off.

Can I change how sensitive the estimate alerts are?

Yes. Set the price alert gap in Valuation rules, from 5% to 100%.

Who sees the alerts?

Every member who can view coins. Only members with the View cost permission see under-cost alerts. Checking and dismissing alerts needs Edit coins.
