Track coin consignments from intake to payout.

Make a consignment for each consignor and set its commission. Add the coins and sell them anywhere you sell. CoinManagerPro totals the sales, the commission, and what you owe the consignor.

Statements come from the invoices for the consigned coins.

A consignment statement in CoinManagerPro for consignor Robert Miller, consignment CONS-0042, at 15% commission. Each coin sold shows its sale date, price, commission and net, such as the 1893-S Morgan dollar sold for $4,250.00, less $637.50 commission, $3,612.50 net.

What consignments do

A consignment holds the coins you sell for one consignor. The consignor is one of your customers, so their sales history stays in one place.

Commission per consignment

Set the commission and the buyer's premium for each consignment. Change the commission later and the totals update. A settled consignment keeps its rates.

Coins from stock or new

Pick coins that are already in your inventory, or add new coins to the consignment. Each coin keeps its grade, cert, and photos.

Totals from real sales

Sold, commission, and payout come from the invoices for the consigned coins. Voided and cancelled invoices do not count.

Status from intake to settled

Move a consignment through Intake, Cataloging, Listed, Partly sold, and Sold. A sale moves it forward. See all consignments on a board or in a table.

Consignor statements

The statement lists each coin sold with its sale date, price, commission, and net, then the coins not sold yet. Print it or save it as a PDF.

Email the statement

Send the statement to the consignor's email address from the consignment page.

Settle and record the payout

Settle records the payout with the date and check number and closes the consignment. The payout comes from the sales at the time you settle.

What you owe consignors

The consignments page shows the total owed to consignors. Filter by Outstanding or Paid to see who is waiting for a check.

How a consignment works

01

Make the consignment

Choose the consignor from your customers. Type the commission and, if you charge one, the buyer's premium.

02

Add and sell the coins

Add the coins, then list them on eBay, in a platform sale on HiBid or LiveAuctioneers, or sell them at the counter.

03

Send the statement

As coins sell, the statement fills in. Email it to the consignor, or print it. The consignor can also see it in the consignor portal.

04

Settle

Pay the consignor, then click Settle. Type the check number. The consignment closes as paid.

Built for consignment coin sales

A large consignment can be hundreds of coins sold across several sales. The statement and the payout stay correct as each sale comes in.

Questions about consignments

How is the commission calculated?

The commission is a percent of each coin's sale price on its invoice. You set the percent for each consignment. The consignor's net is the sale price less the commission.

Can different consignors have different rates?

Yes. Each consignment has its own commission and buyer's premium. Two consignments from the same consignor can have different rates.

What is on a consignor statement?

Your business name and contact details, the consignor, the commission, and the payout status. Then each coin sold with its sale date, SKU, price, commission, and net, the totals, and the coins not sold yet.

Do sales on HiBid and LiveAuctioneers count?

Yes. When you import a platform sale's results, CoinManagerPro makes the invoices for the sold lots. The consigned coins on those invoices count toward the consignment.

Can the consignor see their consignment?

Yes, if you invite them to the consignor portal. They see their coins, what sold, the commission, their net, and whether the payout is paid.

Who can settle a consignment?

Members with the Manage purchases permission. Members who can edit coins can make consignments, add coins, and change the status, but they cannot settle.
